Brooklyn reached out to me to shoot her engagement photos and naturally we decided upon Dumbo as the location! The location was obviously special to her since she was named after it. During our photoshoot, I learned that not only are Brooklyn and Matt a stunning couple, but they are also very talented Opera singers. It was an honor to work with such great talent! Since Brooklyn and Matt are often on stage together, they knew exactly how to dress for the shoot and how to pose together. I love Brooklyn’s red dress and Matt’s suit and they also donned a casual look which added some variety to the shots. Of course we hit all of the usual spots in Dumbo, Washington and Water street, the waterfront, the Brooklyn Bridge, but we also got some beautiful shots outside the garden at the River Cafe.  It was a shame that this lovely couple is getting married so far away because we would have loved to shoot their wedding but I am so glad to have captured these gorgeous engagement photos with them.
