Carolyn and George love summer in North Fork, which is why they chose Salt Air Farm for their wedding venue. Photography is very important to them, especially Carolyn who loves taking photos, so we made plenty of time to take some gorgeous bride and groom portraits. The Salt Air Farm is a beautiful example of farm wedding photography at its finest, including exquisite green pastures and soft summer lighting.
The day started at Fig and Olive Bed and Breakfast, where Carolyn had all of her wedding accessories beautifully laid out for photographing. The advantage of farm wedding photography is its versatility for both indoor and outdoor imagery. Then we went next door to the Blue Iris Bed and Breakfast where the groom was staying, for the first look photos. When we had exhausted every square inch of their beautiful garden, we went on to Salt Air Farm for the ceremony under a large willow tree, officiated by George’s grandmother, who is a minister.
Cocktail hour on the lawn was complete with lobster rolls, oysters, lawn games and a dove release. Dinner and dancing was held under a tent. The Silver Arrow band gave a terrific performance, which had the guests on their feet for the entire evening. After the reception, we finished the day with a finale photo shoot on the beach.
