Getting Ready in New Rochelle
The day began with getting ready photos at the bride’s family home in New Rochelle. These early moments are always some of our favorites to photograph, calm, emotional, and filled with anticipation. Soft window light and familiar surroundings created an intimate setting for capturing final touches, family interactions, and quiet moments before heading to the ceremony.
At the same time, the groom and his groomsmen got ready nearby at a hotel in New Rochelle. Photographing both sides simultaneously allowed us to document the full story of the day, from ties being adjusted and boutonnieres pinned to relaxed moments between friends before everything became official.

A Traditional Catholic Ceremony at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church
The ceremony took place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, a beautiful and traditional church setting that set the tone for the rest of the day. With no first look planned, the ceremony carried even more emotion, making the walk down the aisle and the first moments together especially meaningful.
Church weddings like this allow us to focus on timeless composition, clean lines, and genuine expressions, capturing the gravity and beauty of the moment without distraction.

Family and Bridal Party Photos by the Water
After the ceremony, family photos were captured before heading to Glen Island Park for bridal party portraits. This waterfront location is ideal for wedding photography, offering open skies, water views, and a natural backdrop that feels both relaxed and elevated.
The bridal party photos had an easy, joyful energy, a mix of classic groupings and candid interactions that reflected the closeness of the group. The park setting allowed for movement and variety while keeping the focus on connection rather than posing.

Golden Hour Portraits with a Waterfront Backdrop
As the evening approached, the light softened beautifully, creating ideal conditions for portraits. Waterfront locations like Glen Island Park shine at this time of day, with reflections on the water and gentle tones that photograph effortlessly.
These portraits balanced classic wedding imagery with a natural, editorial feel, timeless photos that still feel alive and personal years later.

Cocktail Hour and Evening Celebration
Cocktail hour flowed into a lively evening reception filled with conversation, laughter, and celebration. Rather than staged moments, the focus during this part of the day was on candid photography, guests interacting, reactions during speeches, and the energy of the dance floor as the night progressed.
With no bouquet or garter toss, the reception felt relaxed and guest-focused, allowing the celebration to unfold organically.

A Timeless Wedding Day Captured Naturally
This wedding was a beautiful example of how classic structure and thoughtful pacing create space for genuine moments. From a traditional church ceremony to waterfront portraits and an energetic reception, every part of the day offered something meaningful to photograph.
