On this beautiful August day, Kat and Ark said their “I do’s” in a gorgeous new wedding venue in New Jersey, Park Chateau Estate and Gardens. Massimo had the honor of being lead shooter. He began the day with Kat and her bridesmaids in the beautifully-appointed bridal suite. Massimo used the room’s abundant natural light, arched windows, and spacious bright interior to capture Kat’s preparations exquisitely. These are some of my favorite shots from the day. Dimitri also had a stately room for shooting the groom preparation photos. Ark looked impeccable in his navy suit, which fit perfectly against the room’s dark blue walls. Once Kat and Ark had transformed into bride and groom, they were ready for their first look. Massimo chose a location outside under an awning so that the couple could have their first look in sunlight, while avoiding the rain. They went on to take picturesque, editorial-style images of the bride and groom throughout the grounds and inside the venue. Massimo and Dimitri needed to be creative due to the rain, but it was not difficult in such dynamic surroundings. The bride and groom were married in a chapel on the grounds, a short walk from the main building. Kat’s father walking her down the aisle was a special moment, and Kat and Ark were both emotional and genuine during their ceremony. Afterwards, the couple exited the chapel for some memorable photos on the grand staircase, set against the regal, black-and-white tile floor. Massimo and Dimitri maximized our signature, off-camera lighting to bring out the beauty of the venue, while artistically illuminating the couple. Kat and Ark’s sprawling ballroom was exquisitely decorated with white flowers, each table was perfectly arranged, and the room was filled with oversize fireplaces and chandeliers. Guests danced the night away and enjoyed the heartfelt speeches. Kat and Ark thoroughly enjoyed their day and had a wonderful time working with Massimo and Dimitri. We are lucky to have been a part of this gorgeous event.
