I am very fortunate to have worked with such lovely clients over the years. One such client kindly recommended us to Kristen and Jonathan for their fabulous Brooklyn wedding. We immediately adored the couple as they were genuine and warm-hearted. They planned such an amazing experience with the help of Paulette from Starling Design + Events, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Our day began with Kristen getting ready at the stunning Wythe Hotel. Hers was a spacious suite, filled with light and beautifully decorated, and it served as the perfect backdrop for getting ready photos with her bridesmaids and family. Kristen and her planner very thoughtfully brought fresh flowers to the room, which we used in many of the photos. After Kristen slipped on her bespoke wedding gown, Jonathan was escorted upstairs for their first look on the balcony of the suite, which had the most incredible views of the New York City skyline. Kristen and Jonathan then took a vintage Rolls Royce to Dumbo for additional photos. We began with a view of the Manhattan Bridge, where the bridge’s Brooklyn-side tower was framed by the brick warehouses on Washington Street near the water. The steel structure photogenically rises up out of the East River and the Empire State Building is visible in the distance. We then captured great images at Jane’s Carousel and St. Ann’s Warehouse before heading to the waterfront pier for final bridal party photos. After a memorable ride in the couple’s Rolls Royce, we arrived at our ultimate destination, The Weylin. The venue’s spectacular frescoed dome, intricate mosaics, wooden carvings, and period decor make it an ideal backdrop for our couple’s special day. We loved every moment of being with and photographing this wonderful couple.
