Lachlan newborn shoot, Brisbane newborn photography

It was a pleasure working with this gorgeous little bundle of joy and his lovely parents. He did an amazing job at his newborn photoshoot!  We started our session wrapped so that Lachlan could get nice and sleepy and comfortable in the studio. Lachlan’s parents opted for some nice soft grey tones, we kept it monochrome so as to keep the focus on the baby. We then transitioned to some other newborn poses, first I got some shots of Lachlan tucked into bed with a little teddy bear wearing a matching hat. Then we moved him to back pose where we put a wrap around him to make him feel nice and secure and then used the end of the wrap as a lovely feature on the side. I took some shots from different angles to get some variety in the shoot since it takes so long to get a newborn baby to relax in a pose, we want to make the most of each one. Now that Lachlan was nice and sleepy we were able to get a few nude poses before heading to the park for some family shots. At the park we got a variety of shots of the proud parents with their new baby boy.
