Kristen and Michael, North Hempstead Country Club Wedding Photography

Kristen and Michael held their wedding at the North Hempstead Country Club in Port Washington, New York. It was my second time photographing this venue, but since their renovation, the space looked much different. We began with getting-ready photos in the ladies lounge. There was a beautiful arched window, which I used to hang the dress and also took portraits of this as a backdrop for the bride.  Kristen looked amazing in her backless dress, her hairstyle and jewelry completed the chic look. Dimitri photographed the groom getting ready at his parent’s home, which was just down the road. The bride and groom both grew up in the same area, although they did not meet until college. That day, the couple had their first look at the church and Kristen was in tears as her father walked her down the aisle. After the ceremony, we headed back to North Hempstead Country Club for a photo session with the bride and groom on the grounds, followed by family photos and bridal party pictures on the golf course. Kristen and Michael danced the night away at their gorgeous reception, while looking out of the venue’s wraparound windows onto the beautiful golf course.
