On a beautiful November day in Long Island, Puja and Abey were married. Our talented photographer Angel was there to capture every special moment. Their day began at Sonesta White Plains, where Angel took lovely candid photos of Puja and Abey getting ready. He made use of the natural light perfectly, and he was also able to pose the bride and groom-to-be in memorable portraits. The ceremony was then held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where Angel photographed every key detail—and he took plenty of fun candids of the cute flower girls and ring bearers as well.

The fall foliage across from the church was a colorful background for scenic images of the couple with bright orange leaves behind them. The group then went on to the reception venue, Westchester Manor, where Angel took a variety of shots in the venue’s lobby, including an aerial view of the bride and groom on the winding staircase, which was one of my favorites. After the impromptu photoshoot, the couple entered the reception to a room full of excited guests as smoke filled the dance floor. The remainder of the event was captured in Angel’s signature photojournalistic style, while the soft evening sun filled the windows before the festivities ended.
