Getting Ready Moments at Embassy Suites
The day began with Marisa getting ready at the Embassy Suites in Berkeley Heights, where Ryan, our lead photographer, skillfully captured the finishing touches. From delicate shots of the bride’s bouquet, rings, perfume, and veil to candid moments of Marisa popping champagne with her bridesmaids, the getting ready phase was full of excitement and anticipation. One of the most touching moments was when Marisa’s mom helped her with the final details of her dress, followed by the emotional first look between Marisa and her bridesmaids.
The handsome groom and his groomsmen were also getting ready at the Embassy Suites. Our second photographer, Taras, captured the groom putting on his tie and cufflinks, surrounded by his groomsmen and family. These early photos are always some of our favorites, as they capture the joy and camaraderie between friends and family before the ceremony.
The First Look at Stone House
The excitement grew as both Marisa and Yitzhak made their way to the stunning Stone House at Stirling Ridge for their first look. With nature’s beauty as their backdrop, this private and intimate moment was filled with joy and emotion. The first look gave us the perfect opportunity to capture some exquisite bride and groom portraits, allowing Ryan and Taras to get creative and highlight the couple’s connection.
Bridal Party and Family Photos
Next came the fun and lively bridal party photos, which included Marisa and Yitzhak surrounded by their bridesmaids and groomsmen. The large group made for some dynamic and vibrant shots, showing off the strong bonds they share with their closest friends.
Following the bridal party session, it was time for the more formal family photos. Both Marisa and Yitzhak’s families were a huge part of the day, and we made sure to capture a variety of groupings with their parents, siblings, and extended family members. One particularly beautiful moment was a photo of Marisa with her mom, dad, and Aunt Barb, a heartfelt portrait that will be cherished for years to come.
Ketubah Signing and Ceremony
As the day continued, Marisa and Yitzhak took part in the traditional Ketubah signing, an important moment in any Jewish wedding. The emotions of the day were palpable as the couple, their closest family members, and the rabbi gathered to make their commitment official. Shortly after, the couple stood under the chuppah for their ceremony, surrounded by their loved ones.
The ceremony was filled with laughter, tears, and joy, culminating in the smashing of the glass, which was met with a resounding “Mazel Tov!” from the crowd. These moments were beautifully documented, allowing Marisa and Yitzhak to relive their special day for years to come.
Cocktail Hour and Reception
As the sun began to set, guests enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour with a variety of food stations and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. During this time, Ryan and Taras captured candid guest photos while Michael G, our videographer, filmed the atmosphere and the couple’s interactions with their guests.
The reception was a true celebration of love and togetherness, with everyone gathering to share in the joy of Marisa and Yitzhak’s union. The couple took the opportunity to sneak away for some magical golden hour portraits, taking full advantage of the beautiful summer sunset.
The night was filled with dancing, speeches, and memorable moments, including fun table photos with each group of guests. As the night drew to a close, we made sure to capture every significant moment, ensuring that Marisa and Yitzhak would have a complete visual record of their perfect day.
