These are some photos I shot as a guest at the wedding of Jane Lerman, owner of LER PR and Shane Fonner. Jane has a successful fashion PR company and handbag line, BLACKSEA and Shane is the designer and owner of a high-end menswear line, Palmiers du Mal. He was named one of “Ten Need-to-Know Designers Making Waves Right Now” by GQ. For this event, we started at La Mamounia for the getting-ready and first look photos. The ceremony and reception were held at a private mansion, which Fabrice Orlando of COCOON events secured exclusively for Jane and Shane. The owner of the house was so kind and hospitable, he actually sat with us and really took a liking to my baby, Owen. The third day, Jane and Shane planned a brunch at the hotel where we all stayed, Dar Sabra. We were requested to wear Moroccan garb. My husband and baby looked a little more authentic than I did, but I certainly tried. I have included a few photos we took the last day when we went to a Berber village and were invited into a home for tea. I highly recommend Marrakech if you are interested in a destination wedding.
