A First Look at Factoria at Charles Point Wedding Photography

This wedding was especially exciting for our team because it marked our first time photographing a wedding at Factoria at Charles Point. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this venue offers something truly unique, an industrial-meets-waterfront setting with sweeping views of the Hudson River, clean architectural lines, and incredible light throughout the day.

Robin and Arnab planned a thoughtful, well-paced wedding day that allowed us to fully explore the venue and capture a wide range of moments, from intimate getting ready photos to golden hour portraits and a lively evening reception.

Getting Ready at Factoria at Charles Point

Both Robin and Arnab got ready on site, which made the flow of the day feel calm and seamless. Robin’s getting ready photos took place inside the venue, where large windows and modern interiors created a bright, airy backdrop. The clean lines of the space paired beautifully with her dress and details, keeping the focus on emotion and connection rather than distractions.

Meanwhile, Arnab got ready nearby with his groomsmen. Keeping everything under one roof allowed us to move easily between locations and capture both sides of the morning without feeling rushed. The relaxed pace set the tone for the rest of the day and made the transition into portraits effortless.

First Look and Portraits by the Hudson River

After getting ready, Robin and Arnab shared a first look, one of the highlights of the day. The grounds around Factoria at Charles Point offer a mix of waterfront views and industrial textures, which gave us plenty of variety for portraits without needing to leave the property.

Their portraits felt natural and unforced, with the Hudson River providing a soft, scenic contrast to the venue’s modern design. This combination made for images that feel both editorial and timeless, especially as the afternoon light began to soften.

Bridal Party and Family Photos

The bridal party photos were kept organized and efficient, allowing us to capture a mix of classic groupings and more relaxed, candid moments. With ten people in the bridal party, having a clear plan made a big difference and kept everything running smoothly.

Family photos followed, and we appreciated how thoughtfully the groupings were planned ahead of time. Having someone call out names ensured that portraits moved quickly while still feeling calm and balanced. The neutral tones and open spaces at the venue worked beautifully for these photos, keeping everything cohesive and uncluttered.

Ceremony at Factoria at Charles Point

The ceremony took place on site and felt intimate despite the larger guest count. Factoria at Charles Point offers a clean, modern ceremony space that allows the couple to truly stand out. The natural light, combined with the simplicity of the setting, kept the focus exactly where it should be.

This was one of those ceremonies where the surroundings enhanced the moment without overpowering it. From emotional reactions during the vows to quiet exchanges between Robin and Arnab, the ceremony photos captured a sense of warmth and connection that carried through the rest of the day.

Factoria at Charles Point shines during this part of the day, with indoor and outdoor spaces that encourage guests to move, mingle, and enjoy the waterfront setting.

The industrial elements of the space, paired with soft floral accents and warm lighting, created a polished but inviting atmosphere. These detail and guest photos help tell the full story of the day and are often some of the images couples love revisiting later.

Reception and Evening Celebration

The reception brought a shift in energy, with heartfelt dances, toasts, and a packed dance floor. The modern interior of the venue transitions beautifully into an evening setting, with lighting that feels warm and inviting without being too dark.

Rather than table photos, the couple opted for candid coverage during the reception, which allowed us to focus on genuine interactions and moments throughout the room. From emotional parent dances to laughter during speeches and high-energy dancing later in the night, the reception photos captured the joy and momentum of the celebration.

Sunset Portraits Along the Water

One of the standout moments of the day was stepping outside during dinner for sunset photos. The sun dipped just above the Hudson River, casting a warm glow that transformed the space. Robin and Arnab took a few quiet moments together while we captured romantic portraits that felt calm and intentional.

Golden hour at Factoria at Charles Point is truly special. The open views and reflective water create soft, flattering light that elevates portraits without needing much direction. These images ended up being some of the most cinematic from the entire wedding.
