Hudson House Wedding Photography: Ana Clara and Jeremy’s Summer Waterfront Wedding
Ana Clara and Jeremy’s wedding at Hudson House was such a fun and memorable day to capture. Set against the NYC skyline on a beautiful summer afternoon, their celebration felt relaxed, personal, and full of energy from start to finish. With thoughtful planning, meaningful traditions, and a few unique touches, this wedding is a great example of how Hudson House wedding photography can feel both elegant and full of personality.

Getting Ready in Jersey City
The day began with a calm and organized morning. Ana Clara got ready surrounded by her closest family, with soft natural light coming through the room, which always makes for clean, timeless images. We focused on capturing details, candid interactions, and those in-between moments that often end up being some of the most meaningful.
Jeremy and his groomsmen got ready at the Canopy by Hilton in Jersey City. The group was already dressed, which allowed us to focus on refined, editorial-style images of Jeremy putting on his accessories and spending time with family. These quieter moments added a really nice balance to the overall story of the day.

A First Look and Portraits with Their Dog
One of the most special parts of the day was the first look, which included their dog. It added such a personal and joyful element to the moment, and made the photos feel even more unique to them as a couple.
We spent time capturing portraits right after, and their dog continued to be part of many of their photos throughout the day. These images felt natural and full of life, and it’s always great when couples include elements of their everyday life in their wedding photography.

Arrival at Hudson House and Family Photos
Once we arrived at Hudson House, we moved into family portraits. Everything was well organized, which made this part of the day smooth and efficient. We were able to capture all the important groupings without rushing, allowing Ana Clara and Jeremy to stay present and enjoy the experience.

Bridal Party and Pre-Ceremony Moments
With a large bridal party, this portion of the day had great energy. We captured a mix of classic group portraits along with more relaxed, candid moments that reflected everyone’s personality.
The ketubah signing followed, adding an intimate and meaningful cultural moment before the ceremony began. These are always some of the most emotional and important images in a wedding gallery.

A Jewish Ceremony with a Skyline Backdrop
The ceremony took place overlooking the NYC skyline, one of the standout features of Hudson House. The setting was clean, elegant, and allowed the focus to remain on the couple and the moment itself.
There was a sense of excitement as guests arrived, and the ceremony felt heartfelt and personal. We made sure to capture both the key moments and the smaller interactions that often go unnoticed.

Cocktail Hour and Guest Experience
Cocktail hour flowed beautifully, with guests enjoying the views and connecting with one another. We focused on capturing a wide range of candid moments, along with the overall atmosphere, food, and details.
The couple had several distinct friend groups in attendance, and we made sure to document each group early on while everyone was gathered together.

Golden Hour and Reception Details
Before guests entered the reception, we photographed the room in its untouched state, capturing all of the design elements and layout. Hudson House always photographs beautifully, especially with its clean lines and natural light.
Although this was a daytime wedding, we still stepped out briefly for portraits as the light softened later in the day. The waterfront setting always adds something special, even outside of traditional sunset timing.

A Daytime Wedding Full of Energy
Daytime weddings often have a slightly more relaxed feel, and sometimes the dance floor can be quieter compared to evening events. That was not the case here.
Ana Clara brought so much energy to the reception, and it completely set the tone for the rest of the evening. The dance floor was active, fun, and full of movement from the start.
We captured some of the most dynamic dance floor images from this wedding, the kind of moments that feel spontaneous and full of life. The couple truly danced the day away, and those photos ended up being some of our favorites from the entire gallery.

Final Moments
As the reception continued, we focused on capturing candid moments across the room, making sure as many guests as possible were documented naturally throughout the evening.
By the time we wrapped coverage, it felt like a full, complete day, one that balanced meaningful traditions, beautiful design, and genuine, high-energy celebration.

Why Hudson House Is a Standout for Wedding Photography
Hudson House remains one of the most sought-after venues for couples looking for a waterfront location close to NYC. The combination of skyline views, clean architectural design, and a well-structured layout makes it ideal for both photography and guest experience.
Ana Clara and Jeremy’s wedding is a great example of how versatile the space can be. Whether it’s incorporating personal elements like your dog, planning a smooth timeline, or creating an energetic daytime celebration, Hudson House offers the flexibility to make the day feel completely your own.
If you’re planning a Hudson House wedding and want photography that captures both the big moments and the in-between ones, we would love to be part of it.
