Band: Around Town
We have shot many lovely weddings at The View at Battery Park. There is something so special about this venue, it sits right in the heart of Battery park. You can watch the boats pass by and there are clear views of the Statue of Liberty. Their day started at the Andaz Hotel, where the bride had a beautiful suite. The couple had their first look at Hanover square, they headed to stone street for a few photos before making their way to Battery Park. There they captured some bride and groom portraits and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. They were fortunate to have a beautiful pink sunset for their family portraits, Massimo and Aaron used an off camera flash so they were able to capture the sunset and the subjects beautifully. The ceremony took place after sunset because this was a Jewish wedding. The couple exchanged vows under a beautiful chuppah and musicians serenaded them as they walked away as husband and wife. After a fun cocktail hour and a delicious meal the wedding party danced the hora and lifted the bride and grooms for the chair dance. The photographers captured some very energetic and exciting photos during this portion of the evening and some romantic first dance photos and touching parent dance photos.
