Stephanie began her day getting ready in The Yale Club’s beautiful bridal suite, while Ryan opted to meet our photographer Massimo in Battery Park for some pre-ceremony shots with his groomsmen. The ceremony itself took place in Saint Francis Xavier Church. Since we had shot in this picturesque church before, we knew that this very special couple would have some fantastic photos here. Stephanie and Ryan wanted to capture the essence of New York City in their wedding photos because NYC is where they met, so it is a special place to them. Stephanie had some great ideas about the type of shots she wanted and together we planned out all of the locations and images beforehand. We had a blast taking fun photos in the streets of New York City, full of yellow cabs, skyscrapers, and iconic buildings such as Grand Central Station serving as our backdrops. Stephanie wanted some free-spirited images with a photo of her veil blowing, and we certainly accomplished the task! The Yale Club is a spectacular venue and we always enjoy shooting in this stunning space. We especially love the new decor, which Stephanie modeled for us beautifully. The cocktail hour and reception flowed gracefully. Guests had a truly wonderful evening enjoying good company, delicious food, and an incredible live band. After the bride and groom cut the cake, guests were treated to a performance by a belly dancing troupe. The evening concluded with plenty of dancing and revelry.
