Jessica and David were married on a beautiful day in July at Tarrytown House Estate. We were very lucky to have incredible weather and such a photogenic couple, which made for some incredible pictures. When I first saw Jessica, she truly looked like a princess as was fitting for this castle wedding venue. I captured some stunning shots of the bride descending the grand spiral staircase. The couple’s first look took place outside the venue with the castle as the backdrop. We headed to the large willow tree for some additional portraits and then back to the venue to complete our family photos before the main event. The ceremony was held outside the castle on the terrace, overlooking the expansive grounds. Cocktail hour was enjoyed on the patio during the golden hour and the couple entered the ballroom just as the sun was setting. The reception was filled with food, drinks, love, lots of great speeches and to top it all off, the groom serenaded the bride with a rendition of “God Only Knows” by the Beach Boys, which left the bride in tears. We really appreciated working with this lovely couple and having the opportunity to capture this special day for them.
