The Heritage Club at Bethpage Wedding Photography: Lauren and Connor’s Elegant Long Island Wedding
Lauren and Connor’s wedding was one of those days that reminds us exactly why we love what we do. Not only was it a beautiful, high-energy celebration at The Heritage Club at Bethpage, but it was also especially meaningful for our team because we had previously photographed Lauren’s sister’s wedding at the Lannin the year before. Being invited back to work with the same family again is always something we truly value.
There’s something special about walking into a wedding day and recognizing familiar faces, on both sides. It immediately creates a sense of comfort and trust, and it allows us to capture moments in a more natural, connected way. We also had the opportunity to create the wedding films for both weddings, which makes it even more meaningful to see these stories come together over time.

Getting Ready at home in Garden City and Rockville Centre
The day began with Lauren getting ready at her home in Garden City. The atmosphere was full of excitement, with those final moments of preparation that always photograph beautifully. Everything was thoughtfully arranged ahead of time, which allowed us to focus on the important details and genuine interactions.
Lauren shared a first look with her bridesmaids, followed by a very emotional first look with her dad. These are always some of the most memorable parts of the day, and they set the tone for everything that followed.
At the same time, Connor was getting ready nearby with his groomsmen in Rockville Centre. The energy there was relaxed and upbeat, with classic moments like putting on boutonnieres and spending time with family before heading to the ceremony.

A Traditional Ceremony at St. Thomas the Apostle Church
The ceremony took place at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, creating a timeless and traditional setting for Lauren and Connor’s vows. The church’s architecture added a sense of scale and elegance, while the ceremony itself remained deeply personal.
From Connor’s reaction as Lauren walked down the aisle to the quiet moments throughout the service, everything felt genuine and grounded. After the ceremony, we moved into family portraits inside the church, followed by a celebratory exit outside with the full bridal party and guests.
With a guest count of over 300, this was a large and lively wedding, but everything was organized in a way that kept the day running smoothly.

Arrival and Portraits at The Heritage Club at Bethpage
After the ceremony, we headed to The Heritage Club at Bethpage, one of Long Island’s most beautiful golf course venues. The open landscapes and clean lines of the property make it ideal for elegant, editorial-style portraits and videos.
We began with bridal party photos, and with a large group, the energy was incredible. Having previously worked with many of the same family members and friends made this part of the day feel even more natural and fun.
We then moved into couple portraits on the golf course, taking advantage of the open space and soft summer light. These portraits felt relaxed and effortless, giving Lauren and Connor a chance to be together before the evening began.

Wedding Party Photos and Reception Reveal
Photos continued at the venue, starting with the gorgeous bridesmaids all dressed in blue and holding the most perfect blue hydrangea bouquets. We enjoyed a relaxed and fun shoot with the wedding party and bride and groom, and captured beautiful portraits they’ll surely cherish.
One of the highlights during cocktail hour was the private reception room reveal. This is always a special moment for couples, seeing their vision come together before guests enter, and it gives us the opportunity to capture the space in a quiet, uninterrupted way.

A Packed Dance Floor and Lively Reception
The reception was full of energy from the start. With such a large guest count, the dance floor stayed packed, and the atmosphere was lively throughout the night.
From speeches to dancing and everything in between, we focused on capturing both the big moments and the smaller, candid interactions that bring the story together. The combination of a strong timeline and a great group of guests made this part of the day feel effortless and fun.

Lauren and Connor’s wedding was especially meaningful for us because of the connection with their family. Being trusted to capture multiple weddings within the same family, both photo and video, is something we never take for granted.
