A stunning summer wedding at Little Owl in NYC

On a glorious summer day in New York City, we had the pleasure of capturing yet another beautiful wedding for a family we’ve grown fond of. A year prior, we photographed the groom’s brother’s wedding at Castel Restaurant, and it was an honor to be asked to document this special day for the newlyweds featured in today’s blog post. Keeping with family tradition, they chose to have a restaurant wedding, this time at the charming Little Owl restaurant in the West Village.

Restaurant weddings hold a special place in our hearts, as they provide an intimate setting where we can focus on the couple and their closest family and friends. The day began at W New York – Union Square, where our talented photographers captured the most stunning editorial shots of the bride and groom. The elegant interiors of the hotel provided a luxurious backdrop for these early moments, setting the tone for the rest of the day.

We then ventured to Union Square Park for additional family photos, taking full advantage of the beautiful weather. The bride and groom also enjoyed a romantic session in the park and the surrounding West Village, where we captured candid and artistic shots that reflected the vibrant energy of NYC.

Despite the tight space at Little Owl, our photographers were able to creatively capture every moment of the couple’s vows and the celebratory banquet dinner that followed. The cozy setting added to the intimacy of the occasion, allowing us to document the love and joy shared among the couple and their guests.

It was a day that went off without a hitch, and we were thrilled that we didn’t need to resort to our Plan B rain plan. The couple’s foresight in securing a permit for Grand Central was wise, but thankfully, the sun shone brightly throughout their special day. Our photographers truly captured the essence of the day, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
