Melanie and Henrik had the most beautiful, fairytale New York City wedding. The couple held their ceremony at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, followed by bridal party photos in Central Park. Dimitri and Nikola took many scenic shots of the bride and groom at Bethesda Fountain, Bethesda Terrace and within the serene, natural setting of the park. Our photographers were lucky to have such a photogenic couple. Everyone then made their way to The Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, where the cocktail hour and reception were held. Dimitri and Nikola captured some great photos of the delicious food, happy guests and upbeat ambiance during the cocktail hour on the terrace and patio of The Loeb Boathouse. Afterwards, guests were invited inside for the wedding reception. The bride and groom entered to a crowd of cheering guests. The couple combined both Swedish and Puerto Rican wedding traditions into their program. Drummers played avidly to excite the crowd, and Swedish and Puerto Rican flags were passed for the guests to wave as they danced and showed their national pride. This young couple had an amazing wedding day and loved their photographs, and we loved working with them, too.
